DAYTONA BEACH, Fla., and SEOUL (Sept. 3, 2025) – With just over 50 days remaining until the opening of the 2025 Hanwha LIFEPLUS International Crown, the LPGA Tour and Hanwha LIFEPLUS have officially announced legendary Korean golfer Seri Pak as the tournament’s official ambassador. This exciting appointment builds anticipation for the prestigious global team competition.

The 2025 Hanwha LIFEPLUS International Crown is the world’s only biennial women’s golf team event contested by national teams. This year’s event will take place from Oct. 23–26 at New Korea Country Club in Goyang-si, Gyeonggi-do, Republic of Korea. The competition will feature the world’s top seven nations – the United States, Japan, Korea, Australia, Thailand, Sweden and the People’s Republic of China – as well as a World Team comprising four elite global players.

Pak, appointed as the event’s official ambassador, is a pioneer in Korean golf history. Her unforgettable barefoot performance at the 1998 U.S. Women’s Open inspired an entire generation, and her 25 career LPGA victories fueled the Korean golf boom and broadened the sport’s appeal. Following her retirement, she continued to lead Korean golf as the national team head coach at both the 2016 Rio and 2020 Tokyo Olympics, notably guiding Inbee Park to a gold medal in 2016.

As the official ambassador, Pak will engage fans by sharing key tournament updates through her personal social media channels. She will also participate in major events including the Gala Dinner, Opening Ceremony and Awards Presentation, further fulfilling her ambassadorial role. Through her involvement, the event aims to amplify its message of competition, unity and inspiration, while elevating its global status.

Tickets for the 2025 Hanwha LIFEPLUS International Crown are now available on the official website. Fans can choose from a Weekly Pass (KRW 200,000) covering all tournament days, or Daily Tickets priced at KRW 50,000 for Rounds 1 and 2, KRW 70,000 for Round 3, and KRW 80,000 for the Final Round. All ticket categories are offered with a 20% early-bird discount until the tournament begins.
